Is it just my immagination or was William Peterson who plays Gil Grissom on CSI Vegas the one who played Pat Garrett in Young Guns.
He had some thick Wiskers but it sure looks like Him?

You are right. He wasn't the same Pat Garrett who was in the first young guns, but he did play him in the second one, where Garrett hunted down and allegedly killed the Kid.

Well, I think it was Patrick Wayne (if I got his name right, John Wayne's son, might be Ethan Wayne, not that I think about it) who played Pat Garrett, but I do think that William Peterson was in that movie as another character.
Edit : I was thinking of the first Young Guns, he was not in it but was in the second one. I remember seeing him in it, but was not sure of which character he played.

He was in Young Guns 2 and was was pretty good, though with Esteves as Billy the kidd, everyone else fell to the background.
Emellio Estivas's best acting ever.
Keefer and Lou Diamond were pretty good too.

I don`t think so. Young Guns is one of my all time favorite movies. I actually got to roam around that area a few years ago on vacation and it brought the story so much to life.
