What works for me is to always look up and look at the bright side of things.

Don't be pesimistic (spelt wrong) and ALWAYS look to the future don't sulk about the past. You can't change history, but you can change your future and what you are to become.

If something good happens enjoy it and aim for higher things. Think optimistic and be enthusiastic about things.
