I want to start my own investment group, but how do they make a profit?

Also I am a college student, wouldthis be a smart business for me to start?

You earn commissions. You have to be good at this. Now everybody can do it themselves online. You might be able to work as a consultant and give advice and not touch their money. Of course, if it does not work out, they wont come back.

If you are a savvy investor then this could be a lucrative business for you.. If you don't know anything about picking good investments from bad and tailoring risk to individual client situations then you are heading for a disaster where you could easily lose everyone's money...
