I agree with everyone when they say you should check with your doctor, however some women do have irregular periods and you can usually check with your mom to see if your family has a history of that. Are you on the deprovera shot for birth control because that does cause your periods to stop and that is perfectly normal and no cause for alarm.

If your young you may not be regular yet this is not a problem. If your usually regular and they just stopped you should see a doctor to rule out any other problems before they get any worse. By the way if you are/or have had sex you cant rule out your not pregnant the test isnt always correct. Also just because you have a period every month doesnt mean your not pregnant either. Please go to the doctor to rule out anything serious.

I agree with checking with a doctor to make sure your not pregnant, but it's perfectly normal to skip a few months. This could mean, though, that you may have difficulties getting pregnant later in life. It could also just be because of a change in diet, or stress.

How old are you? If over 40 or nearing that age it could be early menopause. Now now don't worry, all this is natural, if you want your periods back, go on hormone tablets or start having sex again (that will regulate your ovaries).
If you are young, are you not eating correctly - anorexia, bulimia will stop your periods....if you are worried go see a doctor

Go to the doctor. Also, if you are very active sometimes you just don't get it for a while. My friend is a dancer and she sometimes went months without it. So it's probably not a BIG deal, but you should get checked just in case.

This could be a very serious problem. You should go to the Doctor or Gyno to get it checked out as soon as possible. Not having your period could lead to infections, poisoning, or it could even leave you barren. This happened to my friend and she almost died from it, so please go to the doctor.

go see your doctor, esp. an OB/Gyn if possible... it could be stress related or you could have a female hormone imbalance (I'm a Physical Therapist with 20+ years of medical experience, so I know what I'm talking about...) take care, and good luck!

Do you exercise a lot? Professional female athletes often don't have their cycle because their body fat is too low.

If you are not extremely fit, then go see a gynecologist.
