yes!! i love the way lip peircings look.. i have my nose pierced and love it.. i would like to get my lip done too.. but the whole pian deal really freaks me out! :P GO for it!!
By the way.. as far as employer and piercing go.. you can always get a clear stud to put in.. to where its not noticeble.. Plus you should do every thing you want..lifes too short!! Go for it.. if you decide to take it out later.. then take it out.. it will heal!!

This is what I did... I put a hoop on my lip for a day...yes, it's fake but who cares. You get a feeling for what it looks like and what you can and can't do with it in. It's a lot like a tongue piercing in how you must take care of it- swish with mouthwash after EVERY time you eat, drink or smoke. It was pretty painful for me, but everyone is different. Lots of burning.
I have taken mine out about a year ago and I still have a noticeable dot where the hole was. I hate it and wish it would go away, but I'm not sure that it ever will.

I say no. I worked in a restaurant with this beautiful girl who had her eyebrow pierced. Whenever a customer needed something and I asked who their server was, they would always point to their eyebrow and say "they girl with the thing on her face." Do you really want to be known as this? Unless, of course, you are in a job where such things would not be noticed. then go for it and when you are old, have a good laugh over what you did when you were young.

Although it is a personal choice, when I look at a young lady with pierced lips or eyebrows, I don't get why anyone would want a piece of jewelry hanging out of their face.

If you are planning on get a professional job that has a dress code- you are hurting your lip for nothing. You can't wear that at most office jobs and in the eduaction edvironment.

no i dont think you should get your lips peirced because your lip can become affected and if you think biteing you rlips hurts you wouldnt want to get your lips peirced

No why would you want to put a hole in your lip? Sit back and look at someone with it and see how dumb it looks.

depends on your age and state of mind. if your old enough to think for yourself don't let other people determine the out come of your body.

Yucks......I stopped the piercings with my ears.... all these girls with nipple rings, clit rings, tongue studs and lip rings...I just think that's way too much..............
