it is not easy to make someone love you.but if your love is real he will definitely realise that one day.your love witin your heartnever disappear if you have done all you can do then set him free and if your love is true he will come back to you

My relationship was the same way and we were about to break up and we just had to talk about it. He was hurt in a previous marriage and I just had to go out of my way to try to make him comfortable with me because I wanted him with me. You have to be patient with people who have a trust issue, if it is worth it to you and it doesn't put you at harm. He didn't trust me until he was home alone for half a month because I was in Japan my 2nd home and he noticed I called him every morning before he went to work and made sure I called him before he went to bed. You have to show him you love him, show him you can trust me, And you must show him you care. Its hard and you will argue but if this man is who you love... Prove it to him, no talking!

Have him go out to dinner with you and really sit down and have a heart to heart talk with him. Explain how you feel and be completely honest...I must ask though what did you do for him not to trust you? Make sure that his heart is really into it to...if he isn't going to trust you then it won't work even if he does take ya back.

I have learned...that no matter how much I care,
some people just don't care back.
I have learned...that it takes years to build up trust,
and only seconds to destroy it.

If he's saying you don't love him and your trying everything in power to make him believe you he may be making excuses not to be with you. Take time apart if he really loves you he'll come back to you.

With what you have above I don't think he has left. What you can do is show him you love him through your actions.
Sometimes do things he likes, if those things are not against your belief.
