What is any trip worth to you? Are you paying thousands of dollars to be in Denver for one day, or are you hitchhiking from up the road to stay with your rich relatives? "Worth" is very subjective. Only you can determine if your visit to Denver is "worth the trip."

We were just north of there this past week. Everyone else is right though, in asking how long you are staying and where you are coming from. If you've never been there, and aren't from that part of the country, it's worth seeing. Also, did you already pay for the trip or can you get out of it? If it's paid for and there is nothing you can do about it, you have to make it worthwhile. Perhaps ask what there is to do/see there. We didn't stay in Denver, so I don't know what there is to do/see, but we were just north in the smaller towns and it was very pretty.

Colorado is gorgeous; be prepared for cold weather - it can snow VERY heavily in November. Also be aware that Denver is a mile above sea level in elevation, and that you may be short of breath, so take it easy exertion-wise for the first 48 hours. Drink a lot of water and other clear fluids, and avoid alcohol for the first 48 hours or so that you are there. If you want to see a bit of the state, Rocky Mountain National Park is nearby, and it's beautiful. Colorado Springs is about 65 miles to the south, and is even prettier - I recommend the train to the top of Pike's Peak if you possibly can.

That depends on whether you are coming from Aurora or Timbuktu.

Why are you coming to Denver?

Bring a coat. And a light jacket. Weather is unpredictable. Colorado is beautiful, though!
