Right now, I have linoleum TILES! Of all the things someone decided to put in a bathroom! The water seeps right through the subflooring. It makes me wonder what would be the best type of flooring to put in to prevent more damage.

Ceramic! If grouted properly and maintained, it will never let puddled water seep through! Isn't that the biggest problem we have with bathroom floors? It was for me.

I would think linoleum (not the tiles) or ceramic tiles. We have one of each in our 2 bathrooms. We don't have a problem with either one.

Porcelin tiles, they are more resistent to stress than regular ceramic. If the tiles and grout are sealed properly it will be the last floor you need to put down.

Ceramic tiles are best, but they require a special sub-flooring, so more than replacing tiles will be necessary.
