I also don't know y his still playing for India he does not play good this days.I know why they take him for India for showing of.LOL.
Seriously he should not be there.But actually they can try new players or out of form players instead of keeping Sehwag.

Sewag must open the innings or come much lower down say 6 or 7 depending on the nature of the wicket.He can also send down a few overs.He is passing through a lean trot.On his day he he will carry India to victory(though scarce recently)If he doesn't improve in the next few tourneys he should be dropped.
As for Ganguly, if he recovers his form and improves his fielding and running between the wickets he can still come back..

ganguly is not just out for his low average! there are many reasons-
he never practised regularly!
he was arrogant
wanted everything to work his way!
indian team reached a very chance of winning matches under his caiptaincy!!
sehwag is trusted by both dravid and chappell!!
he can be in form anytime !!
he even has a good average than many others in the team !!

coz he is one player who can change da game for u. but u never knw when. so u keep him forever and he ends up doing it few time during his career. Most of the teams want one guy to do the job for them every match. So even if Sehwag doesn't deliver in every match, india can still win if somebody else wins the match for them. As long as u win y wud u change ur line-up?

Because he is often referred to as a match winner.....plus he is also the vice captain.Anyway, lets face it buddy ...we dont have much of a choice.Tendulkar, ganguly and dravid....now it seems we have got a void after these veterans.

but u know what...mohammad kaif, raina,mongia all average lower than sehwag...and sehwag is a nice player to have...and yes they need ganguly back....he is better than all others except sachin

i have a suggestion.....drop sehwag and play irfan pathan as a batsman.though his main job is to bowl,he has been batting really well of late(and sehwag has only been a consistent failure).in that way we can have him as a bowler,though his primary role will be batting at one drop.wat say??
