I do the same thing. I figure stupid people who ask stupid questions probably understand stupid answers better than intelligent ones.

I think stupid "questions" deserve stupid "answers" depending on what the question is concerning. Sometimes people are just totally clueless. However, when it's something on Yahoo answers like "do you think I'm cute" or "can I pet your kitty", then make the answer as stupid as possible. I think this is a site for serious issues not childish nonsense.

i attempt to be arranged for persons to be thoroughly lost/stupid/ununderstanding of what I anticipate them to comprehend. So I finally end up makeing long solutions some situations. yet I have been given a contravention for attempting to make a relaxing undemanding answer,... appearently somebody did not think of it grow to be an answer or question *rolls eyes*.. I coated quite a few issues in like 2 sentences rather of posting 2 paragraphs. Oh nicely.

I was taught there is no such thing as a stupid question, but this forum has destroyed that theory!
SO to answer your question, it makes perfect sense to me.
But I do often worry that some of these "stupid" question come from true ignorance, and not just silly sarcasm.
And that make me worry for society.

But no, you're not wrong. Why should a genuinely stupid question deserve a genuinely intelligent answer.

depends if the person is stupid or if a child lots of kids ask
kid questions over and over the same question. if the asker is an intelligent adult then you can give a stupid answer. how old are you?

No, but sometimes, people are so stupid they don't even realize you are intentionally being stupid when you clearly are. Someone asked what ocean was next to california and I said California ocean, and someone lambasted me for my stupid answer when I thought I was clearly being ridiculous. Someone always thinks your serious no matter what you say on here.
