What parts makes the Rear Wheel Drive different from front Wheel?

Parts wise the difference is the drive shaft down the middle of the car, the differential that it goes to on rear wheel drive cars. On front wheel drive cars the differential is part of the trans and axles go from it to the front wheels.
In terms of dynamics the cars handle and ride much different. Since the front wheels also do the steering you get different feel plus on rear wheel drive the weight split gives the car a better balance.

Rear wheel drive cars have a prop-shaft that goes to a differential build into the rear axle,from the back end of the transmission(gearbox) The list of differences are vast, as amongst others the engine does not get mounted sideways as in most FWD cars etc etc etc

I never did get into doing that; besides, my rear view mirror divorced and left my car a couple of years back...
