Are you talking bout those old school hair ties that you wrap around the ponytail with 2 balls on it??? Don't know how you would make it yourself sorry...goodluck!

If you're talking about the old school hair ties, I can tell you how to make one. You'll need to make a trip to a craft store, like Michael's. You will need to acquire:
1) elastic cord--relatively thick, whatever color you like
2) two beads with holes large enough to put the elastic through
3) Either a thin strip of metal or a couple feet of wire
4) pliers, preferably without teeth, if you don't have them
Once you've got all that, thread your beads onto your elastic. Next, make a loop and squish it between the two beads. Now, use the pliers to bend that little strip of metal around the part you've squished together. If you got wire, wrap it as tight as you can around the mess. You can also secure the ends with super glue first if you like (it'll give you some more support). Hope that helps!

Take a piece ( enough to fit round ur hair) of rounded elastic. thread this elastic thru the 2 beads, then tie one bead with a piece of nylon thread on the middle of elastic, then tie the other bead at the other end of elastic where u'll join the 2 ends of elastic
