When you say the war between Japan and China, it means the First Sino-Japanese War in Asia.
China didn't win Japan.

China never won the sino-japanese War & neither did the Japs basically because the Nationalists were busy fighting the Communists & China was too big a bite for Japan to swallow.

The first one was fought for the control of Korea back in 1894 to 1895. Japan won that one.

The second one (July 7, 1937 - September 9, 1945), was a straight Japanese invation. This war ended with Japan's surrender. (end of the second world war). So it wasn't the league of nations, but the atomic bombs that made Japan surrender.
