If you ask questions, your points go down. If you answer questions, your points go up. Is this a factor in your participation, or is it the fact that you just aren't curious about much to ask questions? I have noticed that some with no or very little questions in their profile, take cheap shots at the asker? Why is that?

Inquiring minds want to know..

Does asking a question scare you? Are those who ask no, or few questions afraid the boogy man is going to come knocking on their door? Does asking questions become an "exposure" issue with you?

I like to do both. That is the fun thing about this. Ask and answer.

Okay..am I the only one that doesn't give 2 sh!ts about points? Like I don't see how it's a status symbol for people! I didn't even notice the points till I got to level 2 a week ago and noticed I could do the thumbs up/down. I prefer answering but it has nothing to do with my apprehension of lowering my points it's about helping others..and no I'm not afraid of asking questions because of exposure..nobody here really knows who I am or else I would be.

An enquiring mind can get enlightenment by asking questions as well as by reading other's answers too. Many times, the questions that you feel like asking have already been asked by somebody else and there is no point in posting them again.

I like answering questions since the questions l have in mind were already asked. Some questions in this site are not really questions. They just want to tell a story. For whatever reason, it still helps to answer one's inquiry.
