If you can afford it, take them out to a nice restaurant and a nice movie. And you can always buy a card and write inside how much you love and appreciate them!

wow i always keep asking my self the same question but i never did anything about it ,
well how about a nice gift with a greeting card thanking them for all the time and effort they spend on u and thanking them for all the sacrifice... i don't think any word in the would can really be equal to what they did but at least we try to do something
or maybe take them out or something

I would write a poem about your life growing up with all the good and bad memories, then take them out to dinner and present them with it as a token of your love and apprciativeness.
