Please give me some advice.. I married a man I had known less than a year.. I thought we were truly in love and that he was "the one". Recently (we have only been married about 4 months) and I found some evidence that leads me to believe he is cheating. We have just signed a contract for a year long lease on our apartment and made some other "married" changes to put bills together, etc. - of course under my name.. we haven't yet put the paperwork through, the visa he was on has run out.. and I'm starting to wonder if I really know this man that I was so in love with at all... Given the bits I have just written.. if you were in this situation.. what would you do? (Thanks in advance..)

Thanks for your answers so far.. to answer a question.. I believe he is cheating for a number of reasons.. to begin with.. one day after he had come back from a family reunion that he attended I found a bunch of condoms in his backpack - I wasn't snooping then.. it was wide open for me to see as I was passing.. then I started counting condoms where he keeps them and they began to go missing when we hadn't been having sex. Then.. he went to a friends birthday party, didn't invite me - said it was a guys night out.. since I have found out that women were there - 5 condoms went missing that night..
I have since checked his phone and there are other women (yes more than one) that call him and he calls them almost daily..

I asked him about it the day he went to the party (before the party).. he denied it completely.. and seemed so sincere that I believed him.. then.. just for kicks I checked again the next morning.. that is when I found out 5 condoms had gone missing that night (he also said he would come home early to be with me - around 11PM he said... he arrived at 4:30 AM)

girl dont let him convince you with his puppy dog eyes. he probably is cheating on you and just trying to get a green card because it is hard for foriegn people to stay in the states because they are finding them and kicking them out. i am married to a pakisatni but he is sincere to me. he cheated on me once and i found out about it but that was way after we had been married for 4 years. he didnt have a visa and didnt have any type of paper he was completely illegal but you know what the man i am married to he realized that he hurt me and broke me into a million peices and now he has finished and cut off all ties he had with the other woman. but if your husband is already doing all these things to you and you have only been married for 4 months then girl he is cheating because first of all why is he leaving you home when he goes out you are his wife. i think you are involved with one of those that just wants a green card so he can stay in the states and travel back and forth to go see his family with out a problem. he saw that you fell in love with him and that gave him the chance to go for it. my advice to you is research hard and research deep because if you feel he is cheating he probably more than likely is. i am sorry that if anything i said has hurt you but i really hate the guys that do that to nice girls. goodluck in what ever you decide to do.

Oh yeah, I have a green card husband. Run as fast as you can! But first take any credit cards, ATM cards out of his wallet. Your stuck with the long term lease since you signed on the dotted line. File for divorce ASAP! You will NEVER regret it in the end if you divorce him, but you WILL regret staying with him. Believe me, I know............ :(

Probably he is with you for the green card .....how do you know he is cheating??????you have to be very careful you can go to immigration and they can cancel the paper work for him.......why don't you ask him?????face the true

a Friend of mine has a n ex daughter -in law who did about the same thing. found out he was Muslin,here illegally etc. she had marriage annulled,got out of town quick.
