What if he was reading "Green Eggs and Spam" instead of "My Pet Goat"?

What if he was playing golf instead?

What difference would it have made?

Bush reading My Pet Goat upside down is another proof of how nervous he was because he did know the attacks were coming.
9/11 was well staged, but Bush is not even a good actor

President Bush actually did something smart.... for once :) Unlike disasterous events where the Pres is expected to be "personally" involved in some way, this was considered to be an invasion on American soil from a hostile enemy. As Commander in Chief of all armed forces during wartime... the President is a prime target for an invading enemy, thereby making him the one that must be protected the most.

So then where else better for him to be (besides taking a *hit.. yeah that too :) than in a classroom full of kids.

I believe the argument about Bush and 911 is that he just sat there and keep on looking at my pet goat (wasn't the book upside down?). In a way it makes one wonder if he knew the attacks were coming, because if you really think about it, they needed them, just like Hitler needed the Reichstag to burn.

None, but it would have robbed liberals of some good jokes. Just like the conservatives love their blue dress jokes.

It wouldn't. He'd have still had that dumbassed look on his face the minute the secret service agent told him "the nation is under attack". That is what you were asking, right?

It would have made absolutely no difference.

Contray to what liberals would have you believe, the president doesn't control every aspect of everything that happens in America.

Naw, he should have been reading "Oh, The Places You'll Go!" instead

None .
He showed great strength and character by reacting calmly in front of the children.

It wouldn't have made a lick of difference. These rants about what the President was doing are from ignorant people.
