We all have to work. We have jobs. We have hobbies/sports/activities that we choose to participate in. But most of the time it requires us to work at them, practice them, have some failures before we get better.

How can we encourage kids to be willing to work/practice and to view work/practice positively?

A parent is to lead their children through activities to completion and once a child sees the rewards they'll soon be motivated to keep achieving... some children may take to this easily... some may need more encouragement than others... it is a parents responsiblity... also you half to help them through failures letting them also know it's okay... parents also are setting and example by there own actions and activities...

By example. Your attitudes about work and practice will be the biggest influence on your children. Start by working alongside your children. Show your joy in the task and have fun with your children. That's how my Dad raised me.

Through our example. Children emulate everything they see and hear from those around them. They have only a short personal life experience to draw from and they are a bit limited but they are always growing.

Be positive and they are sure to pick that up. They also pick up on negatives too!

Show them a good example. Address those same issues in your own life and talk about them with your kids. Straightforward, I think it's the best way.
