He has written 7 books labeled 'The Dark Tower' series. He has also written several other books that tie into the series. Some of them are:
The Stand
Eyes of the Dragon
Hearts in Atlantis
Insomnia
If there are others they tie in, I can't remember them at the moment, and all my Stephen King books are packed because I don't have the room to put them out at the moment.

7 The last one is called the Dark Tower. I have never really read any of them but my sister has and she likes to read aloud so I know all about them from books 3-7. She is at this moment reading the 7th one so I don't know what happens. What happens when Roland reaches the Dark Tower. And how he reacts to the baby.

It took well over 20 years but the story is complete, or as complete as Steven King will ever make it.
