The Red Sox came into this series with more to lose than the Yankees. They had just lost two to Tampa Bay and were heading into this series down 2 1/2 games to the Yankees. I thought the Yankees played a little more care free and had a more concentrated focus on the games. Thursday's game set the tone and the Red Sox never recovered. I just felt like they were going to win all four games after Thursday nights game. I hated to hearthe news about John Smoltz. He was one helluva pitcher. The Yankees should continue the streak at least through this series against Toronto. Halladay pitched on Saturday so he won't be available. We have no trouble with the rest of the Blue Jay staff. Which Seattle will show up will be the big question on how NY will do against them. I see the Yanks taking three against Toronto but losing one against Seattle. The Red Sox are a great team and although they looked a little beaten against us I see them regrouping and ending the 6 game losing streak tonight. They will take the Detroit series but will have their hands full with Texas, as is everyone else in the league.
