ok I just watched the movie about the plane that was hijacked during the sept 11, and was on the course of crashing into the Whitehouse. Many times during this movie military tried to intercept but was not granted the permission from the President
Now where the hell was he? Do we not live in an age where cell phones are as common as fastfood cheesburgers. No one could contact a man who is supposed to be able to reach at all times for National Emergencys such as this. How pathetic, that these people could only set by and watch these travestys take place with absolutely no way to defend this nation because of failure to contact the president. We as americans should be outraged!! And shame on all of you who gave the Dixie Chicks so much grief and almost ruining their carreers because they decided to open their eyes and speak for an america that they once believed in. HOw many damn movies have to be made before we stop being so damn stupid about it. Is it easier just to hide and pretend?

He was unavoidably detained, he had to finish reading "My Pet Goat". That was more important to him.

I definitely agree with you about this. THEY should have been able to get a hold of the president but maybe he didn't want to be gotten a hold of because he knew he had no solution. You would think that the president of the u.s. would have a cell phone too. I think it's great that the Dixie Chicks spoke their mind. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
I don't understand how day after day people keep following Bush and believing his bullshit. It's amazing how people will believe that he is such a good man and that he is helping our country.

I'm sure the movies will continue to be made and people will continue to be stupid. Sucks for us smart people who can see the truth.

I didnt really like the Dixie Chicks till they spoke out , now i love them , your right they spoke out on what they feel , an i say right on !!
But overall .. Scary Movie 4 had it right .. The president would rather hear what happened to the Duck , then deal with A real Emergency.

I hhave no idea. I have been asking myslef this very same question since 9-11. I was even too "young" to understand politics and be able to vote and such. I wish that kids and teens would be able to vote. If we were, this country would be a lot better. Let me tell you!

are you kidding me?
can you honestly sit there and say that if we would have intercepted (which by the way would have been our military shooting down a plane with all of those americans in it) you wouldnt be sitting here today bi.tching about bush killing innocent civilians. you are an idiot. you have no basis for you opinions other than movies and you need to open a dam.n book.

its people like you that anger me the most. go post your rantings on some teeny bopper forum then maybe youll get an audience that hasnt done research and works on emotions vs actuall intelligence. i think that is an audience worthy of your utter bullshi.t.
