Will the Death of Osama Bin Laden change the War?

If the US believes that killing Osama Bin Laden will change course of the War, and effect the determination of his army, they are mistaken.

They already have in place plans to proceed after the event of Osam's death.

How can the US people and war strategists be so stupid to think Al Queda will suddenly quit their current effective gains in this campaign?

What is the REAL reason that US leaders tell it's people that the death of this single man will advance their cause of Imperial intervention?

I wanna know how they couldn't have anticipated this. The little bit of half a.ssed research I've done on the Middle East shows there is a lot of conflict between religious sects and ethnic groups. Iraq had a system in place that exploited these problems and now a civil war is about it go full force. NO ONE IN THE US GOV. UNDERSTOOD THAT IT COULD NOT BE CUT AND DRY?????? I like the part about cannon fodder. That's the term Napoleon used to describe his troops, and Dubya seems to think he's Napoleon II.

But since the US invasion of Iraq to remove the "weapons of mass destruction", the death of Bin Laden will mean very little. We've created hundreds of new Bin Laden's, and thousands more "suiciders" (that's what dub ya once called them) to follow them.

Actually, Bin Laden is more revered in the Arab world than at any time in the history of Al Quada. We can thank our King George for that. And he will probably mean more to them "dead than alive" ( Bush said he wanted Bin Laden "dead or alive" , 6 months later he said he didn't care where was Bin Laden was, it really doesn't matter). He will be a revered martyr who all the "suiciders" will pray to, and go to their deaths worshiping him.

Nope, killing Osama will only accomplish one thing -- getting someone else to take his place. Al-Qaeda will continue, and the attacks will continue. But this is one area where many people do not understand the enemy we are dealing with: They can't be bought, they can't be bargained with, they can't be reasoned with, they can't be persuaded with pleas or tears; they are quite simply the Middle East version of the Terminator -- they're bent on killing Americans and they WILL NOT STOP, NO MATTER WHAT. There is only one way to deal with people like that, and that is to handle the situation with the attitude of "it's us or them." Preaching tolerance and economic opportunity for Muslims will do nothing, and the only thing tolerance and economic opportunities for Muslims will bring is the untimely deaths of more innocent Americans. As painful as this reality is to accept, our only choice is to eliminate every Muslim extremist on the planet. Until we do, more innocent people (not just Americans) will die.
