I ASSUME,
comvert =convert.
1000 meter= 1 kilometer
1 kilometer=1000 meter.
(If you want to convert 2 kilometer into meters ,then
you have to multiplied by 1000.
so, you will get 2000 meters.
2 kilometer =2000 meters.

Now, now, Johny Atlantis - there is no need to get all rude.
A person would not ask unless they want to know. Therefore, not everyone is as intelligent as you - treat others with respect, will you?
Now, to the asker:
Convert (spelling) Kilometer to meter by multiplying Km by a 1000.
(others have already answered this much better than I. I am just letting you know the correct answer).

You know, you really shouldn't have to ask a question so basic as this!
The answer is: you multiply distance in kilometers by 1000 to obtain distance in meters.
Have a care! You will find many conflicting and complex answers along side this one!

It is verey prevalent in the USA that distance measurements are taten in terms of feet.To convert to inches and yard requires a converter.
In the meteric system all measurements are normalized iin terms of the base ten.
If you are going to deal with the metric system you will find it much easier in converting units.
My polite answer for that is that You study the Metric system and you will find all the answers about converting Units.
Dont feel so bad if you dont fully understand it ,you will catch on. Good luck.

There are a thousand meters in one kilometer. So, if for example you drove 10 kilometers then infact you drove ten thousand meters.

the "kilo" in kilometer stands for 1 thousand. so if you have 1 kilometer, then you have 1x1000meters, that is, 1000 meters.
in a more general view, "kilo" in other units also represent 1000, like kilograms, kilo ohms, kilo volts.
