1cm = 10 mm
1m =100 cm
1 X 100 cm = 10 X 100 mm
so 100 cm ( 1 m) = 1000 MM
therefore one metre(m) is equal to 1000 milimetre(mm)

10 mm=1 cm
100 cm=1 meter
1 meter= 100 * 10 millimeter
1000 millimeter=1 meter
(If you want to convert 2000 millimeter into meters ,then
you have to divide 2000 by 1000.
so, you will get 2 meters.
2000 milimeter =2 meters.
