It's HOT and the night life is fine if you stay out of the bad areas. Avoid people who talk to themselves, large crowds gathered on the corner, and stay in the business area like the night club row.

The weather is warm in the daytime (warm enough to lay out on the beach, but too cold to actual go in the water), but it does get chilly in the evening. The nightlife in Miami is great all year round. However, the hotels tend to inflate their rates around Christmas and New Year's.

Night live is just great, and it caters for every possible taste under the sun. One has to know the spots though, for the best action, as there are some real seedy joints as well
