Result of the ICC hearing is known to everybody. Now a logical question is that if there happened no ball-tempering at all, why all the hell broke out at Oval. Had it not been a Hair-blunder, nothing would have occurred at all. Whatever happened afterwards, was as a direct consequent of the Hair-blunder. Punishing Inzi for no fault of his and sparing the real troubler-maker speaks volumes of the whole episode.

Inzamam has been cleared of the charge of ball tampering. However he has been found guilty on the charge of disrupting the game and has been awarded the punishment of suspension from 4 one day internationals.

I think ICC should punish Darell Hair bcoz Pakistan has cleared and if they didn't temper the ball then why did Darrel Hair disturb the game ? Why didn't ICC think about that ? Pakistan were ready to play the game but Hair didn't come back. I think Hair should get punish for his behavior.

There were two umpires in the controversy.
One has been condemned by the Indian subcontinent and the other accepted for future umpiring there.
That is what has happened.
