That would depend...If she has a lot of moles that are a cause of concern, then it would be an acceptable procedure to look for any other questionable moles on all the skin of the body, but if she is not being treated for any kind of skin cancer or moles that are of concern, I would question this. I would contact another dermatologist and ask that question to be sure...

If there was any reason to be concerned for skin cancer, then no. Checking areas like the cleft of the buttocks would just be being through in a skin exam, unless they skipped over other areas like behind the ears, armpits and such I don't think you should be worried about impropriety.

1 if there are any there
2 if there are some. are they a potental threat?
if he did not find any he wont have to look again for a while.
