Which world? Your personal world ends the day you die. The world of ideas will last as long as sentient beings live. Planet Earth will continue in one form or another until the Sun expands and burns it to a cinder. Which world were you referring to?

Our world "humanity" will end with the extinction of our race. Life as a whole may end if the universe were to have no habitats suitable for living organisms. For example if there was to be a hypothesised "big crunch" where the "closed universe" expanded to where there was no more space left.
