Is this more proof of what a fake he is?

Hillbillies are from Apalacha and the Ozarks, so this question shows your ignorance regarding the south. Its not monolithic nor are the accents there.

He has a Texan accent, he grew up there because his parents who are New Englanders moved there and raised him there. Had they moved to Laval raised him there then maybe he'd have a French Canadian accent.

I mean you can come from "Al Quaeda Land" if you raise small kids in west Texas they'll have west Texas accents even though they be muslims and all that.

Gawd this was a dumb question!

Wow. You guys are even picking on his southern drawl?

When Bush has the time, he really does engage in normal activities like fishing and cleaning brush. As President, he is pretty busy, but that's what he does for relaxation. He enjoys taking care of his ranch. Just because politicians like Kerry come up with fake hunting photo ops doesn't mean that everyone does it.

BTW - It's spelled hillbilly. Perhaps you should work on your grammar and spelling before making fun of someone's accent.

Why would you be so derogatory toward the father of our country....George Washington was a great President. Questions like this attacking Washington or any President proves that the Liberals are Anti-American, and do not have the best interest of there bretheren at heart!

You probably don't remember the 'genius' president Carter. He also said, "nucular", and he had been in the nuclear Navy! Heavy accent, too.

When whorehound Clinton popped up on the scene, he also had a hillbilly accent.

So, besides the top of your head, Zippy, what's your point?

That's not an accent. He lost the tip of his tongue as a child on a cold winter's day years ago. His best friend, Dick Chaney, dared him to lick a lamppost. As a result, he lost the tip to frostbite.
Later that day, Chaney shot him in the face with a BB gun.

Ya'll need to learn the difference between a hillbilly accent and a TEXAS drawl. Quit drinkin' the shine!

It's NOT a "hillbilly" accent. It's a TEXAN accent. A WEST TEXAS accent to be precise.

He has it because he grew up in TEXAS. His parents were originally from the East, and moved there for the oil money. Dubya, like his siblings, grew up as TEXANS.

Jeez... and Bush Bashers think that DUBYA is the stupid one (you got an undergrad and MBA from an Ivy League school yet?).

Blame it on living in Texas for so long...I lived there for 2 years & picked up that twang in a mere 2 months time..It took me 1 year to get rid of it when I moved back to my home state..(Mo.)I swear it can change your tongue!

How pretentious is it that the son of an extremely wealthy family from New England can pretend he's a common man? That's why he uses folksy, informal modes of speech. Total fake just to win the "redneck" vote.

George has lived in rural Texas for a long time. That is not a fake accent. You don't like him, that is obvious, but you are showing what a small person you really are with this question.
