For the person who said all hispanics clog up the welare system. It is certain hispanics that i have seen clog up the welfare system. The puerto ricans have done that repeatedly. The mexicans, central americans and south americans that i know have never use that. Mind you these are the one that i have met. But growing up in providence rhode island. Shoot i have seen numerous PUERTO RICANS have like 6 kids just to recieve that damn check every month.!!!!!! Most of those were friends of mine but now as a grown up i realize that those ba....... give the rest of hispanics a bad name. Just reading these responces tells me that.

first of all God did create this world for us. His is heaven.
People have a problem with illegal Hispanics who come to our country do jobs for lower wages thus preventing our own from getting the jobs and then they never pay a dime in taxes. they use our welfare and education system (that we pay taxes for) they use or medical and and health care systems and we pay the taxes again. Then they send the money back to their country to support their families there instead of putting back into our economy. We honest taxpayers spend millions so they can have a free ride. Don't believe me? Get in your car right now and drive to DHS or the Health department and tell me how many are Hispanic? I was there a couple months ago and there were about fifty Hispanics to every one of any other race. Not a one could speak English. But our country caters to them so what can we do but be angry. Our government hunts us down if we don't pay taxes but the illegals get off Scott free. I have no problem with any legal Hispanic person, heck my husband is of Spanish decent. But Americans are tired of footing the bill.

It's fear of course! Here's the deal! And this is coming from a white woman. Americans hate people who can come into our country, either legally or illegally, get on welfare, take away our minimum wage jobs, and walk around the mall speaking spanish! We think you are talking about us, and sometimes you are! We think all hispanica are lazy, and want something for nothing! We think you want to live in our country and have the freedoms that we enjoy, at our expense, while still living as a patriot of your mother country! The truth is, there are people of ALL races who want something for nothing! There are people of all races who get welfare when they really could be out working! There are people of all races who talk about others in public! We just whisper instead of using a second language, so no one knows what we are saying! The fact that it is only hispanics that act this way, is just one of many stereo types that have existed for thousands of years! What can you do about it? Well the best you can do, is to live your life in a way that disspells these stereo types! After all, it is also a stereo type to assume that all americans hate you! God bless you and have a great day!

I don't think it's just a hatred of Hispanics in general. It's a hatred of illegal immigrants. There is a well-established family operated Mexican restaurant in our town and everybody loves their family, because they came here legally and are financially supporting themselves. However, our town also happens to house hundreds and hundreds of illegal immigrants as well, for whom the entire town has a very burning disgust. There is a big difference between the two.

A lot of people who answered your question are jerks.

I myself find that I am not impressed with the way that most hispanics have come here illegally.. not all, but a lot more then any other racial group.

And when every other group acclimated itself to the present American culture and speech, the hispanic group imposed theirs in defiance.

It would be like going to France and expecting them to know English, or the Chinese expecting the same of us.

People are fearing that the hispanic group is taking over.. and in a way, by not acclimating like everyone else, it is. Our media is going spanish.. we have to press "1" to speak english to the operators, and so on.

We grew up one way and in less then a couple years its all gone mexican! It's uncomfortable.

Hispanics aren't wrong, but by not acclimating, they do become evasive. It's just the way it works.

Go to Ukraine and try to remain american, and see the reaction you get.

Did you know that the 2nd largest french speaking city is Montreal, Quebec? And yet you don't see anything in french.

I've been living under a rock, I guess. Immigration is never talked about where I live, I guess because I'm not in NY, FL, TX, or CA. I have no hatred for Hispanics, because there is no reason for me to hate them.

I don't hate hispanics. I just don't see why they have to sneak into the country. My husband is not American, but he is here now. And he came in the correct way and has a good paying government job. See, it pays to do things the correct way.

its not the hispanics as a whole that there is hatred for - its cause alot of them dont speak english and they work in public places. i just hate going to mcdonalds and having to repeat myself a million times just for a double cheeseburger. IF YOU COME TO AMERICA LEARN ENGLISH. SI?

Perception is everything, right? I haven't noticed any sudden influx of hatred towards Hispanics, but you apparently think so. Why? and please be sure to "source " your info so you can back-up a statement like this one. And please clear-up your reference of "this is God's world not ours". Don't get me wrong, I may totally agree with you! But somehow this smells of immigration and our national soverignty. I could be wrong, but you've left me guessing- not enough clarity in the question. Go ahead and "edit" it. Thanks
