The United States wants a fence on thier borders in the name of security.

Is it to keep people out, or to keep people in?

Is it the start of seclusion?

It's not a good idea. I am under the impression it is more likely to keep people in. I have traveled abroad and have received more grief trying to come home and get back into my own country than trying to get into others for a visit.

Americans will always be able to afford a flight to get out.

What I'm concerned about is how to fence the shores?

I want one on both borders.
For me it will help stop illegal immigration and people dying in desert trying to cross into USA.
My main reason is that it will help keep America safe since a terrorist cannot just walk across border with a nuke and BOOM

Yeah its to keep people in, and soon, it will be a very thick, high wall, so you better leave now while you still can.
