Be very careful with what you download of off limewire. It gave my computer a virus, and now my limewire comes out in german..Now matter how many times I deleted it and then download it again.

Limewire as a program is not illegal. But what you do with that program... if you use it as a means to circumvent paying for movies, music and software, then that is what is illegal.

technically its NOT illegal. when you download it, it asks you if your going to use this properly and not file share and other such things, thus why they havnt been shut down, its just a ton of people misuse the software. if you use limewire to download stuff thats not yours, then yes it is illegal. if you use it to fileshare between computers (idk why u'd do that) or something just for personal use, perfectly legal
