Try simply hitting enter (no password) - it's common for old machine passwords to be cleared in preparation for sale. If that doesn't work, either find out from the person you bought it from or you'll need a password reset utility. Here's one that works for Windows 2000:

May be win 2000 must be blocked to acess by Administrator. Pls ask you dealer for a check up.

Did they give you the system CD as well. Just load the CD and reboot the computer. Then reformat the hard drive and reinstall Windows.
