What job is this and where can I sign up? Your own boss gives you games to play. Whoa! I long for slow days like today here at my job so I can be online. If you're looking for something more challenging quit and find a new job. I'm sure there are a lot of us slackers out here who would love to have your job. Wake up and smell the coffee, your job rocks!

I understand your problem is the guilty feeling, and you are right, every person needs to accomplish somehting in order to be satisfied with them self, first of al you areluckier than some people who browse thru garbage cans for food, so meanwhile you can put bread on your table, but defitly try looking for something more valuable to do with you time, maybe opening a internet shop, or get eduacated, but definitly dont keep wasting your tallents

Hmmm - on the surface this sounds great, but when you think about it, it's not so good. Firstly, how can he afford to pay you for doing nothing, and do no work himself? That seems a bit suspicious. Secondly, when you are so bored out of your skull that you look for something else, what are you going to say at interviews when they ask you those tricky questions about experience etc? I think you should ask your boss for some real work, and if nothing is forthcoming, look for another position asap.

Where do you work? It sounds like a dull job...because that dose get old after a while. What are you supposed to be doing? If I were you, I would talk to the regional manager. Tell him what is going on at that particular store/ office you work at. If that dosen't work, keep on climbing the ladder...becuse its costing the company money, and someone is going to care sooner or later. Good Luck!!!!

Sounds like you are working in the civil service.

And I seem the only one who's not jealous. But I do think taking an internet course is a good idea.

How about take on-line courses instead of playing games? Get a degree on the company.

i had a two week work experience placement like that. it sounds good, but you want something to occupy yourself.

try and see if there are any odd jobs in the office that need doing, maybe like checking stocks of stationery and stuff.. otherwise, explain to your boss that you don't mind but you want a bit of variety. they've got to do something. good luck :-)
