Best bet is to call an exterminator. They can do a really good spraying throughout your house inside, around your house outside and under your house if you have a crawl space. This way they zap the spiders, their nest and the spray lasts long enough to get the eggs when they hatch. After the first visit, they can come to your house every 6 months and will only have to spray around on the inside and around your house on the outside.

The spider which normally inhabits our homes in England is known as the 'wolf spider'. It is harmless and usually does not make a web but runs around the floor. Any insect spray will kill these creatures stone dead.

I have the same fear of spiders and I have found that if I sprinkle Sevin dust at the bottom of the doors and windows, they don't come in anymore. Do this on the outside of the house, not the inside!

They are called house spiders. The ones you see are the males. Females spin a thin sheet web but you hardly see them indoors. Also this is mating season so the lads are running around looking for a mate. They are harmless. Also the evenings are getting cold. They are attracted to light and warmth. So if it is a cool evening and your widows are open and the lights are all on, they just walk in through open windows.

My solution is get a tarantula, it seems to have stopped spiders in my house for the last 5 years, Plus they just sit there so you know exactly where they are

Do a little research on spiders. There are many very good, don't bite you, eat bad biting bug spiders out there.

I hate them too, absolutely terrified! I have heard that anything that smells of citrus is unpleasant to them, also, there is a spary called Spider-Stop, which smells like cloves, you can get this from catalogues like Betterware I believe.

The least they can do is bite. Dont be scared. Or just buy a good brand of animal spray.

Watch my lips.

In Autumn, they come inside before they freeze their spidery b****ks off .

This is entirely reasonable (if you have spidery b****ks).

They have more of a problem than you. Trust me.

I guess you do not have b****ks, so you would find this difficult to comprehend. Frozen b****ks are a serious issue.

So, I respectfully suggest that you retire to Cambodia until the New Year, then you will be most welcome back home - with no spiders.

Have a good day
