We sold our biz to a couple from Jhb, who paid a deposit, then ran it till the balance of payment came through. Shud hve been March, which didnt happen. Not only did we get no monthly income, rent was not paid, lotto not paid. electricity not pd. Ran up debt to nearly a hundred thousand. Next thing unbeknown to ourselves the biz was closed end of May, with them disappearing and all the stock in our biz. We are due to go on pension in a year or two and now living in a back room. It took two months to find them to issue summons, but what if they have spent all the money. Will be ever get it back. We are totally shattered by this experience.
