Most Asian restaurants (Chinese as well as Japanese) pool tips. In other words... all the tips from every table are put in one place, then divided evenly among serving staff. It's just a custom... so tip as usual and know that everyone who waited on you will be tipped evenly.

I would tip about 20% (double the tax) and give them a quick bow (they'll get a big kick out of that!).

leave your tip on the table and they will share it. if you had good service i would leave $2. for each person.
