Because i have been washing my face with DOVE for about a year now thinking it was healthy for the skin but then i just heard on the radio that bar soap makes you age....so is that true??

It may age your skin,but i very much doubt it make you age faster

Bar soaps are much more drying to the skin than liquid soaps. Dry skin will age faster than healthy skin. I recommend using only liquid soaps for both the face and body. You should also use a good moisturizer after each washing and wash 2x a day.

trust me; Dove and Caress are good products; you may, if you fear bar soaps, want to try a liquid cleanser; dermatologists always recommend Cetaphil, which also comes in a store's own brand (CVS< Walgreens etc) you can find these right next to the Cetaphil, & about 1/2 the price, with exact same ingredients!!...also make sure you use a moisturizer after each time you wash your face and no extremes of water temperature on the skin NO HOT OR COLD always always lukewam to cool to both wash and rinse your face with....

NO its not true, dove is a great bar soap and the Dove for sensitive skin is the best. just use a good moisterizer and SUNBLOCK when ever you are out side for a large amount of time

I have been washing my face with soap all my life and I think my skin looks pretty great. I think you just have to remember to moisturize and drink lots of water.

No it doesn't. The worse it can do is give you breakouts if it is not meant to be used on the face. More than anything, worrying ages.

depends on what soap, like savon de marseille is an olive oil based it will not dry ur face as much.

really, too bad. the baby soab would be better than other or milky cleansing.
