Its ESPN. Unfortunately when football comes around, that is all u see on that channel, havent u seen on Sundays, that's all they talk about even though right now is when baseball is the most exciting. They will show a few (& that is little few) highlights about baseball, but they focus more on football. T.O., being the "flambouyant" player/person he is, of course thats going to top the news. Besides, even though there is a lot of people that say they hate him, u know everyone is still watching to see if its true or not, but b'sides that, T.O. has been in the news ever since the Dallas Cowboys signed him, the media has been following him to see if something happens between him & Parcells. Don't blame T.O., blame the media, they're just looking for something to happen. & I hear ya, shoot I wish they would focus more on baseball right now since, like I said, the race for October is here & right now is when its the most exciting. (Just wait 'til the Cowboys play the eagles. . . now thats really going to be all over ESPN)

Fortunately this entire incident is not going to last but a few days. You're right about baseball. It should be the top story. Great pennant races. Great individual plays being made. The Tigers story, the Twins story, Ryan Howard and the Phillies seemingly completely out of it by all star break having a chance to steal a playoff berth by the end of the week. The Cardinals insurmountable leader all but gone. The incredible play of the Dodgers this past week with the back to back to back to back home runs and then Nomar winning it in the 10th. My goodness, who wants to hear about T.O. and his pills????
You're right, it's a non story for sure and guess what, it's the Cowboys problem not ours. If justice is served let's hope the Eagles pound the Cowboys into submission.

Unfortunately, ESPN is delivering content the viewers want. Any news (hype) on T.O. equals money. We may never understand it nor may we ever want to but, that's the way it is. It's all about the almighty dollar.
This latest T.O. debacle has left sports journalism hang out to dry with irresponsible reporting. Another day in the life of television broadcasting.

I think everyone should stop picking on T.O. Why? What about the Vikings off field stuff? I miss it when people talked crap about them.
But anyways, T.O is just like any other players. They only pay him more because they "SAY" he is better. But really, any WR can be good if their just given the chance.
I do not think T.O is important to us people, any players are just as important to us as T.O is. Like I said, their picking on his because he is supposedly the "Best" WR in football right now.

I agree!
Let T.O. hurt himself ( or not ) all he wants!
There's baseball being played here people!
And the fact that it's almost over should more than justify
dedicating most of espn's time to the playoffs!
How dare they!

@David- enable's be honest approximately that in spite of the indisputable fact that. It grow to be a great deal. You forgot the deaths of anybody quite suitable to activities. Steinbrenner, wood, Sparky, etc. And something Lebron James. @David- Yeah that grow to be style of stupid on ESPN's section.

ESPN would much rather do stories on sensational things like TO, or big slam dunks or other things that looks flashy. Sadly, that's what people seem to watch. I'll bet their ratings aren't suffering because of all their TO worship.
