Why worry about it? Just give them away and buy a couple pair of gauchos that fit. By the time you are finished paying someone to alter the skirts, it will equal the price of a new pair(s) of gauchos!

Too big in the waist, too big as in they're large circle skirts? Have a tailor help you out with ideas on what to do with them if you really like the print/fabric/color.

To the person below, not usually. I had some major alterations done to some of my clothes for less than 20$ each. Please let me know where, other than Wal-Mart or K-Mart that you can get really nice, well fitting (which automatically rules walmart and kmart out for someone of my body type {I'm a size 0}) clothes of any type for 20$ a pop.
