I'm guessing that as the hospital did not keep him, no.

If someone attempts to take their life, most if not all states require that the person be held for a minimum of 48 to 72 hours for observation to make sure they are not a threat to themselves or others. As this did not happen, must have been a reaction of some kind as he said...........

Most likely scenario seems to be that his publicist found him in an incoherent state, and in her distress saw his empty bottle of pills and made a BIG assumption that he was in this state because he emptied the bottle.

In fact it seems that Owens had the pills already divided up in to daily doses in one of those plastic each day of the week compartment things that seniors favour.

Its also possible that he took an extra Vicodin beyond the recommended dosage and got into a bit of unanticipated trouble. From what I hear this is very tempting when you start using this stuff as they really make you feel good, almost euphoric.

T.O. loves T.O. too much to try and kill T.O. He's pretty darn aggravating, but I still hope he's OK.

To all of the people who believe what his people are saying----

Do you really think that the paramedics were lying when they said he took 35 pills? And don't say maybe he finished it before because as I understand it that prescription was given to him last week a bottle of 40 pills.

Also, don't you think that if he had an allergic reaction to a medication last week his doctors would have changed the medication?

No...mix of pain killers and his daily supplements caused an allergic reaction. Just turn on the T.V. it is everywhere...as if someone just bombed an office building in a major city.

....WHO CARES...

The media needs to stop giving him all this attention. He does not deserve it.

Not a suicide attempt. I don't think this is a man who in any way suffers from low self esteem!
