Right now, $2 billion is being spent funding this war with Iraq every week.

It hasn't been $2 billion/week for the entire duration of the war, this is just the current amount. I think we've spent around $100 billion for the entire war, but the cost is on a steep incline. I wouldn't be surprised if we were spending $5 billion/week sometime soon.

DAMN 2BILLION A FREAKIN WEEK???????
That money could go to education, finding gas/energy alternatives, helping out poor people, finding cures, things like that! WTH is this country coming to?So Your trying to tell me this country has spent over half a trillion dollars on this war? What a waste! What have we gotten out of this war in the last 6 years? We have gotten nothing but threats, dead civilians, and dead American soldiers. Terrorism has not died down in the Middle East and there is not one sign of peace over there either. Also all we have gotten is more hate from countries. Bin Laden still hasnt been caught, and the capturing of Saddam Hussien doesnt count either because we werent orginally after him. This war was a bad bad bad idea. The other day Bush said going to war was the right thing. When there is a cold day in hell this war will be the right thing!!! SHAME SHAME SHAME ON EVERYBODY WHO SUPPORTS THIS WAR!
