I am sure you can but you would be inviting anyone and everyone to view the contents of your PC! If you simply want to access your network or PC from somewhere else, read up on VPN (Virtual Private Networking). If you are running windows 2000 or greater, its very easy to set up and there is no fee to pay! You can also physically control another PC with a program called RealVNC.
