I want to play, but I don't think there should be any rules. Remember, two rights don't make it right, but three rights make a left.

You state that "most rational people would not fight on either side" - is this to imply that you think the Islamic terrorists' tactics and ideology is "rational"?
Rethink that conclusion.
The Islamic radicals' demand: Convert to Islam, or die.
Using your logic and the terrorists' demand, most "rational" Americans would be converted to Islam by now - or dead.
The "third side" you speak of - what is it?
We know from experience that appeasement, negotiations, diplomacy or ignoring the threat does not work - these strategies simply led to more terror attacks.
What is your alternative response to this threat?
Remember, sometimes you simply have to pick a side - stand up for what you you think is right -if you continue to simply wonder up the center of the road, sooner or later, you'll get run over.
Sorry, but that's reality.
Please note: When almost 3000 innocent Americans die because of a demented ideology, it is not a "silly game."

Rational thought can only exist in a community of rational peaceful people. Therefore you are forced to choose between the most violent and the one that allows peace and freedom where rational men are allowed to exist. You know the Pope's speech that was so reviled in Muslim cultures was completely about this very thing. What does that tell you?

I agree , most rational thinking people would not fight on either side.
I don't understand why everybody doesn't just want to get along? "WHY CANT WE ALL JUST GET ALONG"... hehehehe. What purpose does any of this war, and terrorism serve? They aren't going to win, and either are we. You think we are going to wipe radicals and terrorism off the map? No way , for as long as there will be an earth and people to live on it there will always be someone not agreeing with someone else.

HG Wells once said..
"The first person to raise his hands is the first person to run out of ideas."
It has become so easy to be reactionary than to instigate a thought process that provides results in a constructive manner.
