Thanks for having given me an opportunity to go through the dictionary to know the meaning of all the words starting with "y" with the fond hope of finding one word which might make me happy!

" Y is a tough letter to come up with many interesting words, especially ones that would make people happy.
If a Japanese mom told her kids they were having yakitori for
ban-gohan (supper) I'm sure they would be happy. It is a delicious marinated grilled chicken dish.

The word "yes" usually makes people happy, as well as young, as in you are looking younger every day.

Yodel seems to make countless itinerant cowboys and lederhosen clad Swiss hikers happy, as does "yoga to Hindu ascetics.

And then there's the trusty old word that has been keeping Flintstone fans in stitches for years--yabadabadoo!!
