It depends on what type of infection you have. If you're talking about something like a mild bacterial infection of a wound, cleaning with Betadine solution and applying bacitracin ointment would work well. You would still need to watch the would carefully for an indication of worsening. If you're talking about any type of systemic infection, you need to see a doctor and most like take antibiotics.

Bacterial infections are one cause of foodborne illness. Vomiting, diarrhea, fever, chills, and abdominal pain are common symptoms of food poisoning. Raw meat, fish, eggs, poultry, and unpasteurized dairy may harbor harmful bacteria that can cause illness.
Generic Bactrim is an antibiotic pill that contains two chemical compounds, trimethoprim together with sulfamethoxazole that actually help to lessen the microbial infections in the body.

Depends on the bacterial infection........is it skin? If so, and it is not serious, you could try a triple antibiotic ointment......if it is respitory or something of that nature you would need an antibiotic from the doctor.....there is nothing over the counter to treat that type of bacterial infection.......feel well....best wishes.

The strongest natural bacteria killer I know is Oil of Oregano, it is potent stuff. Try a health food store and go for it in the softgels...don't be fooled there are plenty of natural bacteria killers out there.
