For earthworms, no. Only the part with the 'saddle'. It is the head of the worm and contains the vitals.
The other part will die.
Segmented worms are a different story. All the segments are capable of independant life.
For the flatworms, possibly. It really depends upon how much damage was done during the slicing.

Not an earthworm since it has vital parts that are in one or the other halves. But if you chop a simple worm like a flat worm (planaria) it will form two worms from the two halves because it is too simple to have any specialization in its parts.

OK I THINK IF YOU PHRASE YOUR QUESTION PROPERLY IT CAN BE ANSWERED WELL.
ANYWAY WE HAVE MANY TYPES OF WORMS eg Platyhelminths,Nemahelminths and Annelids.
if you were refering to the earthworm if you cut them into halfs they will continue to live becouse they are bisexual organisms so they will live but they won't reproduce.
