def pre 2000. that must be why thats all they play on the local radio station. I swear you would think its 1995 just listening to is.
soundgarden nirvana, pearl jam and so on. its just old and worn out now. yet I cant listen to the new crap either. so I just pop in a CD or listen to talk.

I'm not sure how old you are, but if you can remember back, the music today, is sort of a "repeat" of the music at the end of the '70s and the begining for the '80s. It reminds me of a combination of "disco" and "bubblegum pop". Also, a lot of the rock groups, that were "too hard" and didn't get much air play are coming into the main stream, jsut like in the '80s when Metalica, Alice in Chains, Guns n Roses....they were all once considered underground, but they blew up the radio in the 80s, kind of like KORN, Stone Sour,Hinder...etc. are doing now.

actually todays music is a heinz 57
of a blend of music from the 60,s
to the 2000,s.
if you listen to green day-it sounds like the 80,s
kind of like a metal flock of seagulls
and many other bands blend in the older and newer rock styles
to come out with somthing fresh and new....

I <3 today's Japanese music. As for English music, it really depends on the artist. I don't really care if it's old or new, if it's beautiful to me I'll listen to it.

Could not agree with you more!!!! The music kids listen to today is filled with the most sexual, racist, drug, derogatory remarks that I have ever heard, it should be censored.
