I'm going to put mine in an A-Z folder. I'm so sick of flipping thru a notebook, or tons of pieces of paper. I was a secretary. You'd never know it. Are there other lazy's out there like me?

KeePass is free and stores your passwords in an encypted database. You can even keep the program and all the data on a usb flash drive so you can take it anywhere you go.

I used to have trouble keeping track of all my passwords at work. What I did to resolve this is I put all my passwords on one card in my rolodex. I put it on the back of the card and that way no one will ever see it; it keeps it private and only I know it's there. It's the first card listed under the P's (short for password) so that I remember where it is. I just have a regular phone number on the front of that card. If you run out of space on one card, go ahead and start another card and put it right behind that first one under the Ps. It's great, I just turn to my rolodex and flip to that card(s) when I need my passwords. :-)

I did have the same problem, then I narrowed it down to using only 3 different passwords. Luckily I don't have to hand them out to anyone. But I got tired of all the tiny pieces of paper that got lost - and I am a secretary lol.

I have five passwords - my real one, couple important site ones, and some throwaway ones. Keep a list in Excel of the sites, each marked with 1-5 so I remember which password I used. Then if someone gets "the list" they still do not have the passwords. Just the numbers.

I have tons of user names and passwords because I do all my banking on line, then there brokers, different email accounts, you name it, what I have been using for years and love is RoboForm.
www.RoboForm.com, it very cheap considering you only buy it once and then get all the updates. It works for all the sites I have run into except one bank I have that asks to stupid random questions.

Unlike the stupid one Microsoft provides in Windows XP, this one keeps your passwords safe in encrypted form, and can help on filling in forms. So for instance it can fill in credit card information so you can tell them not to keep your information, but still be able to reenter it quickly each time you want to buy something.

Use some sort of system. Make all passwords of the form
abcdefgh, with abc a three letter word, de two characters like %%, &&, or ** and fgh three letters related to the system you need it for.
Like win for your PC, yah for yahoo, etc.
