Does anyone know of a cartoon about King Arthur from the late 70's or early 80's?

OK, this cartoon was drawn in a very ordinary style for the late 70's or early 80's. It was about King Arthur, his knights, and later in the series, his adventures with a big stupid man and a blond little boy named Christopher or something. One of his knights was Tristram, who had black hair and was good-looking and very somber, and played a harp that also served as a bow. Arthur was young-looking and had brown shoulder-length hair. The villain of the series was King Lavik, I think, whose cohort was this powerful witch dressed in black. At one point in the series there was something about trekking up a mountain "following the path of the sun" and they fought a dragon when they made it to the top... During Arthur's adventures with the dude and the boy, he concealed his identity as king, and one time the three of them had to fight some villains in a flying ship. It was a dignified cartoon, nothing goofy except the antics of the fat man and the boy, and I'm going CRAZY trying to find it!!

I found the answer... It was an anime series from 1979, originally in Japanese but translated into a bunch of different languages. It's original name was Entaku no Kishi Monogatari: Moero Arthur, and the English version was called King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table (not to be confused with King Arthur and the Knights of Justice, which was a silly 80's cartoon about a football team that gets kidnapped by Merlin to Replace the real Arthur and his knights.) The late 1960s Australian animated cartoon series Arthur! and the Square Knights of the Round Table was a typically wacky take on Arthurian legend.

The animated series The Legend of Prince Valiant followed the adventures of three young warriors training to become Knights of the Round Table. Originally aired in the early 1990s, it featured Arthur, Merlin, Guinevere, and Gawain in its main cast and several other Arthurian characters in recurring roles.

The animated series King Arthur and the Knights of Justice premiering in 1992 featured an American Football team called the Knights led by quarterback Arthur King. When the "real" Knights of the Round Table are captured, Merlin magically transports the Knights football team to Camelot to defend the kingdom and rescue the captured knights. The show was cancelled in 1993.

the only cartoons about King Arthur that I remember are the movie The Sword in te Stone and the series Princess Gwenyvir and the Jewel Riders. sorry i couldn't be more help.
